Language

Primary language used for Presentations in JDRC13 is "English". However, "Japanese" can be also used in poster presentation to encourage discussions.


Poster presentation

Poster preparetion and presentation

A 90cm x 210cm (wideth x height) or a 116cm x 176cm (wideth x height) poster board will be allotted to each poster presenter and 30cm x 20cm poster number is posted at upper-left on each poster board. Poster prsenter will post poster in the remaining space on the board. Poster must be prepared with English. General tips for poster preparation are shown below.

Poster posting

Poster presenters should post posters by opening remarks. Poster should be posted untill leaving conference. Poster presenters must remove posters by 3:00 PM, September 12. After that time, any remaining posters will be discarded by JDRC13 office.

Poster session schedule

Poster sessions are scheduled at poster presentation area on September 11 and 12 as follows.

Oral presentation

Slide preparation and presentation

Presentation slide should be prepared with Microsoft Power Point. Slide must be prepared with English. General tips for poster preparation are shown below.

Connnection of computer to the projector

Presenters must connect their own computers to the projector and sure the slides before presentation. Please, bring their own computers to oral session room in the break before their oral session. Presenter's computer must have HDMI type A or VGA D-sub 15pin connector. There are no adaptors available in JDRC13 office.

Oral session schedules

Oral presentations are scheduled at oral session room in accordance with the program. Oral presenters will have 15 minutes including 3 minutes of discussion (i.e. 12 minutes of presentation + 3 minutes of discussion). Time keeper will ring a bell once at 10 minutes, twice at 12 minutes and three times at 15 minutes. Don't go overtime because oral sessions will be on a tight schedule.
